Recent progress in quantum dot distributed feedback lasers with large wavelength detuning for uncooled and isolation-free applications

Abstract

This work reports on the temperature performance of a 1.3-micron InA/GaAs quantum dot distributed feedback laser operating with a large optical wavelength detuning. Isolator-free transmission with pulse amplitude modulation is achieved under strong optical feedback.
