Abstract

We thoughtfully investigate the optical phase conjugation (OPC) process in a polarization-selected orthogonal-pump semiconductor optical amplifier (PSOP-SOA) subsystem, enabling error-free signal conversion with the optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR) of up to 16dB.
