Low-DMD Ladder Fiber with Dual-Step Trench-Assisted Structure

Abstract

We design and fabricate a dual-step trench-assisted 4-LP ladder fiber with low differential mode delay over the C-band, which is reduced by ~20 times when maintaining equal index differences between adjacent mode groups.
