400G LR4 and 100G CWDM Transmission Over 1x4 Linear Array Multicore Fiber with 125-µm Cladding

Abstract

A 1×4 linear array multicore fiber with 125-µm cladding was fabricated. We have demonstrated 400G LR4 and 100G CWDM error-free transmission over 2.5 km of such fiber with 1Tb/s total data rate.
