Beyond 100Gb/s Nyquist 128/256/512-QAM Subcarrier Modulation Direct Detection Transmission Using O-Band DML with Digital Nonlinearity Mitigation

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate high-order QAM SCM signals 20km transmission with O-band DML and digital nonlinearity mitigation. 147Gb/s, 136Gb/s, and 108Gb/s line rates are achieved with 128/256/512-QAM formats below the 20% SD-FEC threshold of 2×10-2, respectively.
