Flexible Organic Photodetector for Real-time Underwater Optical Wireless Video Transmission

Abstract

A real-time UOWC based on flexible organic photodetectors and commercial blue LED is experimentally demonstrated. By using 4QAM scheme, the system achieves 14.65 Mbps real-time video transmission with single organic photodetector deep in water of over 1 m.
