Recording of holographic gratings in photochromic Al2O3:C,Mg crystals

Abstract

Holographic recording is tested using new Al2O3:C,Mg crystals. Plane holograms were recorded using 442 nm pulsed laser light from the optical parameteric oscillator and were read non-destructively with 442 nm He- Cd laser.
