Abstract

Two kinds of functional extensions of an optoelectronic imaging system called TOMBO (Thin observation module by bound optics) are presented. The TOMBO is a compact system for image capturing based on compound-eye imaging and post digital processing. Methods for color imaging and 3-D data acquisition are considered. Several experimental results executed on the experimental TOMBO system are demonstrated.
