Long-lifetime holographic memories for optical communication systems

Abstract

The successful issues of long-lifetime stability and thermal shock robustness in photorefractive LiNbO3 holographic memories for 1550 nm communication systems are here experimentally demonstrated, granting the possibility to build up ready-to-use products for telecom networks.
