Strictly-all-fiber 1.55μm high peak power high average power source in a side coupled pump configuration

Abstract

A high peak power source of 94kW, 0.49mJ/pulse and high average power of 7.3W is presented. This is evidently the highest peak power reported in a strictly-all-fiber source at Erbium eyesafe wavelengths in the nsec regime.
