Abstract

A bidirectional dense-wavelength-division-multiplexing (DWDM)-passive optical network (PON) based on vertical cavity surface emitting lasers (VCSELs) injection locked technique and data comparator is proposed and demonstrated. Improved performances of bit error rate (BER) and eye diagram were observed in our proposed DWDM-PON.
