Abstract

We demonstrate an in-band pumped (1565 nm) continuous-wave (CW) singlefrequency distributed-feedback fibre laser operating at 1836 nm with an output power of ~5 mW and amplified to 345 mW using a master-oscillator power amplifier configuration.
