Abstract

An 8-channel DWDM multiplexer with integrated individual channel amplification is demonstrated. 10 dB, 3 dB, and 0 dB fiber-to-fiber gain is achieved using lensed fiber, cleaved fiber, and cleaved fiber array respectively. BER performance is also presented.
