Increase of Relative Intensity Noise after Fiber Transmission in Co-propagating Raman Pump Lasers

Abstract

We found that relative intensity noise of pump laser was increased after fiber transmission by mode partitioning noise and stimulated Brillouin scattering. Our novel innergrating-multimode laser can sufficiently suppress this increase of noise.
