Abstract

A 160-km DWDM link with 320-Gb/s (32×10Gb/s) capacity and 50-GHz channel spacing is demonstrated using four in-line semiconductor optical amplifiers. The link performance does not significantly vary with- and without a saturating reservoir channel.
