Abstract

Recent increase in signal channels in WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplex) system requires higher power outputs from erbium doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) [1][2], 1480nm pump laser diode module (LDM) have been conventionally used for high-power EDFA systems, applying both wavelength multiplexing and polarization multiplexing technolgy.
