Routing, Modulation Format, Spectrum and Core Allocation in SDM Networks Based on Programmable Filterless Nodes

Abstract

An RMSCA approach based on binary particle swarm optimization is proposed for programmable filterless SDM networks, aimed at minimizing core and spectrum usage. Near-optimal resource consumption is obtained at a modest trade-off with component usage.
