Suppression of Signal Instability Caused by Polarization Cross-Talk in Interferometric Fiber-Optic Current Sensors

Abstract

We investigate the effect of polarization cross-talk in interferometric fiber-optic current sensors particularly at fiber connectors and the phase modulator. With a modified optical circuit we suppress cross-talk related signal instability.
