A Unified Control Architecture for Software Defined Packet over Optical Networks Using Resource Buffering

Abstract

We propose a software-defined unified control architecture for packet over optical networks based on "super virtual router". Analytical and simulation results show that fast and seamless connection establishment can be achieved by using resource buffering.
