DMD-based Random-access Scanning and Its Applications in Two-photon Microscopy

Abstract

We present a compact random-access two-photon microscope based on a single digital micromirror device (DMD) that scans the laser beam in X, Y and Z axes at the DMD pattern rate, i.e. 22.7 kHz.
