Abstract

Scanning microscopes with pixelated detectors combine high spatial resolution and light collection efficiency. We record and reconstruct 3D sample information with only a 2D scan by suitably modifying the point spread function of the microscope. We introduce a data post processing scheme for producing 3D images from the collected raw data.
