Nano-optical Diffraction Bar-code Tagging for Biological and Chemical Applications

Abstract

We propose and test a new principle of optical tagging of small beads for biological and combinatorial chemistry application that uses mezoscopic diffraction bar-coding capable of encoding up to 20 bits.
