Full Temporal Characterization of Few-Cycle Laser Pulses Using Commercial BaTiO3 Second-Harmonic Nanoparticles

Abstract

We measure sub-7-fs laser pulses using commercially available BaTiO3 second-harmonic nanoparticles and the dispersion-scan technique. Scattering plays a key role in the retrieval algorithm to obtain the same results as in Beta-Barium-Borate crystals.
