Spatially self-confined polychromatic beams in quadratic crystals

Abstract

We study experimentally the spatial and spectral features of supercontinuum generation in a bulk quadratic crystal. We demonstrate the formation of the spatial polychromatic filament in the visible and near infrared domain.
