Second-harmonic generation in AlGaAs nanoantennas

Abstract

We demonstrate second harmonic generation from a 1554-nm pump beam in monolithic aluminum gallium arsenide nanoantennas on an aluminum oxide substrate, with a peak conversion efficiency exceeding 10−5.
