Nonlinearity-induced suppression of Landau–Zener tunneling

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate discrete temporal diffraction, Bloch oscillations and Landau–Zener tunneling in a fiber network. For increasing power levels Landau–Zener tunneling is suppressed thus leading to nonlinear localization at a few lattice sites.
