Generation of Photon Pairs in Cubic Nonlinear Waveguide Arrays

Abstract

We analyze the quantum statistics of photon pair generation through spontaneous four-wave mixing in nonlinear waveguide arrays and predict pump power-controlled transition between bunching and anti-bunching correlations due to self-focusing of the pump beam.
