Dissipative solitons in an all-normal erbium fiber laser

Abstract

Dissipative solitons at 1550 nm are generated in an all-normal erbium fiber laser containing only positive dispersive fibers. The output pulses have an energy of 20 nJ and a repetition rate of 3.5 MHz.
