Mode-Locking of Light-Bullets in Planar Waveguide Arrays

Abstract

A theoretical proposal is presented for the generation of light-bullets in planar waveguide arrays. The light-bullets form from noise, persist for a range of gains, and can easily be routed by sloping the gain profile.
