100 ns Quasi-Light-Storage of 8 Bit Data Sequences at 1Gbps

Abstract

We propose a new approach for the storage of 8bit optical data bursts based on quasi-light-storage method. We achieved storage time of 100ns using conventional telecommunication components with the ability of fine and coarse tuning.
