Self-similar interaction of slowly oscillating dispersion-managed solitons

Abstract

A numerical and theoretical study of dispersion-managed soliton interaction is presented. A resonance between internal soliton oscillations and pulse pair oscillations produces self-similar interaction structures. Perturbation theory provides an explanation.
