Interaction of spatial solitons in a high-index glass

Abstract

Using near-infrared picosecond pulses we investigate spatial solitons and their coherent interaction in a dissipative Kerr-like glass with multiphoton absorption. The results are modelled by a dissipative nonlinear Schrödinger equation.
