Localization phenomena in disordered optical fiber arrays

Abstract

Arrays of nonlinear optical fibers have an intrinsic disorder that accounts for random variations in coupling coefficients and propagation constants. In this paper we study the effects of disorder in enhancing or inhibiting light localization.
