Multi-wavelength generation in Yb-doped fiber laser through four-wave mixing

Abstract

Four-wave mixing is used to generate multi-wavelength lasing in a high power Yb-doped fiber laser. We achieved narrow linewidth (< 40 pm), high signal-to-noise-ratio (> 55 dB) and high output power (1.70 W).
