Annealing Properties of Femtosecond Laser Inscribed Point-by-point Fiber Bragg Gratings

Abstract

The annealing properties of point-by-point inscribed fiber Bragg gratings written at different pulse energies is examined. Three annealing modes are observed due to the complex interaction of regions modified by different writing laser beam intensities.
