Wave Guiding in a Circular Fiber Array Equipped with a Spiral Grating

Abstract

Wave guiding phenomena in a circular optical fiber array equipped with a spiral grating are numerically investigated. Two types of rotational-modes are predicted. One is a resonant-mode and the other is an adiabatic-mode.
