Abstract

Near-field spectral properties of coupled plasmonic systems have been studied by multi-photon photoemission electron microscopy combined with a wavelength tunable femtosecond laser as an excitation source, and the internal quantum efficiency (IQE) of plasmon-induced photocurrent generations using gold nanostructured titanium dioxide photoelectrodes. Both near-field spectra showed a spectrum splitting like far-field extinction spectra, which proved the formation of new hybrid modes based on the strong coupling.
