Elucidating Two Photon FRET and its application through femtosecond optical tweezers

Abstract

We have observed two photon fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) from optically trapped bead coated with multiple dyes. The fluorescence obtained from trapped particles is useful to measure biomechanical property of that confined system.
