Nonlinear Plasmonics: THz Resonances, Quantum Limits, Interband Enhancement and Aperture Metasurfaces (Invited Talk)

Abstract

THz vibrations of metal nanoparticles allow for strong nonlinearities. Au interband transitions and gap plasmons enhance nonlinear before tunneling sets in. Nonlinear aperture metasurfaces give ultrathin and high efficiency wavelength conversion.
