Tunable lattice plasmons in the SiO2/Au core-shell nanorod arrays

Abstract

SiO2/Au core-shell nanorod arrays (NRAs) with high aspect ratio are reported, which could support different lattice plasmon modes (LPMs). The origins of the LPMs could be attributed to the coupling between the diffraction modes and the plamon modes in single nanorod.
