Optical Materials and Devices for A Mid-IR Sensing Platform

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Mid-Infrared optical sensing offers label-free biochemical identification because it overlaps with the characteristic absorption from a wide range of molecules. I will present chip-scale mid-IR sensors using i. hybrid polymer-silicon nitride waveguides and ii. opto-nanofluidic slot waveguides.
