Visible to MIR Frequency Comb Generation in Lithium Niobate Waveguides

Abstract

We investigate thin-film lithium niobate waveguides with chirped poling periods for efficient supercontinuum via χ2 and χ3 nonlinearities. Leveraging these nonlinearities, we generate frequency combs spanning from the blue to the mid infrared.
