Kerr-breather-soliton classical time crystals

Abstract

We describe Kerr-breather-soliton time crystals in which a breathing excitation is sub-harmonically locked to the repetition frequency. Nonlinear modeling explores the behavior of soliton time crystals, and we will report on progress towards their observation.
