Gain-Phase Modulation in Chirped-Pulse Amplification

Abstract

A new cross-modulation effect between the gain and phase of chirped pulses is theoretically proposed. The gain-phase modulation theory was well verified by chirped-pulse amplification experiments, showing great potential in pulse propagation analyzation.
