Second Harmonic Generation In Un-poled Multi-layer Silica Structures

Abstract

In this presentation we will show our Maker fringe measurements of second harmonic generation in un-poled multi-layer silica structures. We observe an intrinsic non-linearity that develops as a result of the deposition of multiple alternating doped layers.
