Kerr frequency comb dynamics circumventing cavity thermal behavior

Abstract

We demonstrate arbitrary laser frequency detuning control in an optical microcavity, utilizing auxiliary laser heating method to simplify cavity thermal behavior. Novel Kerr comb dynamics and flexible manipulation of dissipative cavity solitons are reported.
