Abstract

Second-harmonic generation, at fundamental wavelengths of 800-1300 nm, in mechanochemically synthesized LiNbO3 nanocrystals is reported. For a small, constant energy, a doubled-frequency converted signal has been detected for all this range, with an incident-wavelength-dependent intensity.
