Development of a 20-W UV laser system through frequency tripling

Abstract

We developed a 20-W 355-nm laser system through frequency tripling of a fiber-bulk-hybrid IR laser. The simple method used for walk-off compensation in frequency tripling increased the IR-to-UV conversion efficiency a lot.
