Spectrum to Distance Mapping via Nonlinear Airy Pulses

Abstract

We show that the spectra of Airy pulses reshape into one or two self-shifting peaks for normal or anomalous dispersion during nonlinear evolution, respectively. Those peaks effectively map the longitudinal coordinate into the frequency domain.
