Blue femtosecond laser diode systems

Abstract

Ultrashort-pulse laser systems based on GaInN semiconductor laser diodes are developed to generate high-peak power ultrashort optical pulses for practical applications. Progress of femtosecond pulse generation using mode-locked GaInN laser diodes is reported.
